The base of the Crédit Populaire du Maroc, the 8 Banques Populaires Régionales (BPR) are organised in the form of variable-capital cooperatives, with Executive Board and Supervisory Board. Their proximity and their mode of organization, unique within the banking system, fosters a privileged relationship with their customers. The latter, who benefit from various banking services, are also members. Holders of the capital, they are integral with their bank's social life (participation in the General Assemblies, possibility to sit on the Supervisory Board).
Their missions
As credit institutions, the Banques Populaires Régionales are empowered to carry out all banking operations in their territorial constituencies. They contribute to the development of their region by the diversity of the products that they offer, financing investment and the economy's access to banking. Finally, they constitute the leverage of the Crédit Populaire du Maroc in collection of savings, its mobilisation and its use in the region where it is collected.
BANQUE CENTRALE POPULAIRE
The new entity formed by the merger of the Banque Centrale Populaire and the Banque Populaire de Casablanca occupies an important place in the areas of Casablanca, the prefecture of Mohammédia and the province of Benslimane. While supporting the ambitious program of the region and its major structuring projects, the Banque Centrale Populaire actively participates in the development of Greater Casablanca through the financial support of SME/SMIs, large companies and other segments of its clientele.
BANQUE POPULAIRE DU CENTRE-SUD
The Banque Populaire du Centre-Sud is a leading bank in its territorial constituency which covers the Souss-Massa, a region with strong economic potential, particularly in the fields of agriculture, agri-food, fishing and tourism. It is involved in financing of various sectoral activities and positions itself as an actor engaged in its region's development plan.
BANQUE POPULAIRE DE FÈS-MEKNÈS
The Banque Populaire de Fès-Meknès operates in a vast field of activity covering the regions of Fès-Boulemane-Sefrou-Taounate-Moulay Yacoub and Taza. This territorial space has a high potential in the industrial, agricultural and tourist fields.
