SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Groupe Banque Populaire is convinced of the significance of its contribution to SDGs through its core business, its internal operations, and its sponsorship activities.
It was possible to identify the Group’s contribution to SDGs by analysing products, services, programmes, and internal operations that mobilise various functions of the Bank, the Attawfiq Micro-finance subsidiary, and Fondation Banque Populaire.
Through its core business, Groupe Banque Populaire makes a strategic contribution to four SDGs, on which it has the strongest impact. A further four SDGs mirror programmes to which the Group is strongly committed, whether through its Fondation, its financing, or its internal operations. SDGs 16 and 17 form the basis for the proper conduct of the Group’s business with all its stakeholders. They refer in particular to partnerships with financial backers, regulatory authorities, States, and associations, as well as to the representation of collaborators at all levels of decision-making.
