In its capacity as the reference bank for Non-Resident Moroccans (NRM), the Banque Populaire has set itself the mission of supporting them wherever they are in the world.
In addition to the historical bastions for NRMs – mainly the Northern European States (France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany), then Southern Europe (Spain, Italy) – new immigration territories will be added to the list from the 1990s. This is the case for the Middle East. Faced with this new situation and with its mission in relation to the Moroccan diaspora, the Group had to swing into action. As a result, Representative Offices were opened in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and, more recently in 2018, in Qatar.
This new office builds on the Banque Populaire Group's strategy of supporting Moroccans living in the Gulf region, in particular.
